Changing times at Gipping Press

2011 has been a remarkable year for Gipping Press, with demand for digital print growing beyond even our most optimistic forecasts. Our new colour press is now taking three times more work than originally predicted, and we would like to thank you for your continuing custom and assure you of our unchanging commitment to courteous and responsive service.

The (very welcome) pressures of high demand present us with new challenges which we are working hard to rise to through changes to our in-house systems, and, of course, recruitment.

We are also losing the services of Gavin Starling, who is moving on from Gipping Press to pursue a career in transport. We wish him well, and he goes with our sincere thanks for all the work he has done over the years.

We appreciate your continuing patience during this period of transition. With plans already in place to recruit more staff this now provides us with an additional opportunity to become even more effective partners in your promotion, and we will keep you informed of developments.

GP on the road



In an effort to improve our services to customers EVEN MORE we have just taken delivery of a new VW van from Wolsey Van Centre in Ipswich. Next it will be given the GP design treatment with the addition of new vehicle graphic wraps so you will all know who we are on the road.

Suffolk Business Exhibition 2011...

Thank you to all who dropped in to see us at ISSBA Suffolk Business Exhibition on Wed 13th April. We drafted in the next generation to help out on our stand. Thanks to Dan Steed ( above left) and Danny Cuff (right) for their stirling work at the exhibition. Dan is just starting his second year of a business degree at UCS (Ipswich) and Danny has just graduated with a degree in journalism from Staffordshire University.

GP's busy year...

The last twelve months have been very busy for Gipping Press. As well as celebrating our 30th birthday we attended several local business exhibitions and we are regulars at the Stowmarket Chamber monthly breakfasts.

Last December we held an Open Day over 60 customers dropped in to say hello. With factory tours, demos and the launch of our brand new digital press the day was so successful we repeated the exercise in July 2011 when a similar number attended. New Colour Digital Press...

Our recent investment in a brand new colour digital press (see photo below) has proved to be a great success with the estimated workload in the first two months being exceeded by nearly three times what we expected. It is great that we have started strongly but the machine is so good we want to keep up the pace so - if you have any colour printing job - large or small - call or email us us for a very competitive quote.
